Angklung is a traditional Indonesian musical instrument made out of bamboo. In 2010 UNESCO lists Indonesian Angklung as the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

In March of 2022 Ibu Ari introduced Angklung to Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center in Silver Spring, and started a class for the Seniors in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Since then Ibu Ari and group has been actively performing - not only throughout the country, but also in Indonesia and Malaysia. The group performed at various communities and institutions, schools and universities, churches and the nursing homes, for the dignitaries, the Ambassadors and the Diplomats - including performing for the former Maryland First Lady.

In July of 2025 Ibu Ari started Angklung class for Mabuhay Foundation, and in only 2 months of training the Mabuhay Foundation is ready to take a big stage and performing the biggest Angklung Concert in the US,accompanied by the Filipino and Indonesian professional musicians and singers.

The concert will have at least 75 angklung players on the stage.
